02Dishwasher · Gaskets $18–$46 · Spray arms $22–$58
Dishwasher door gaskets matched by cross-section, not by length.
Dishwasher door gasket replacement goes wrong when someone buys "the 72-inch one". Two gaskets of the same length can have a D profile and a bulb-and-fin profile, and only one of them seals your tub. We measure the cross-section, and we check spray arms by the hub bearing, before anyone names a price.

Dishwasher door gasket
The door gasket is an EPDM or silicone extrusion pressed into a channel around the tub opening. Some are a plain D-section, some are a hollow bulb with a fin that sits in the channel, and European tubs often use a molded corner piece at the bottom that is sold as part of the gasket. Length matters, but it is the last thing we check.
We take the cross-section with a caliper on the old gasket, or from the model number's parts list when you don't have it out yet. Height of the bulb, width of the fin, how deep the channel is. A gasket that is 1 mm too short in the bulb will look fine and drip on the floor every cycle.
One warning that saves a lot of money: if the gasket tore at the hinge side, the door is out of square. A new gasket will tear in the same place. Check the hinge springs and cables first; they are cheap and we stock them for common models.

Dishwasher lower spray arm
The lower spray arm is a molded polypropylene bar that spins on a hub bearing in the sump, driven only by the water leaving its nozzles. Two things kill it. Austin water is hard, so scale closes the nozzles and the arm stops turning. Or the hub bearing wears oval, the arm wobbles, catches a plate and cracks along the seam.
Try a toothpick and a vinegar soak on the nozzles first. It costs nothing and it fixes about half the arms people bring in. When the arm is cracked or the hub is worn, we check the hub bearing diameter against the old arm and the mounting style: screw-on cap, bayonet twist, or a press-fit seal ring. The same model number has carried two hub styles across production years, so the serial matters here too.

Inlet valves and rack rollers.
Water inlet valves. A solenoid valve behind the kick plate. When it fails the tub fills slowly, overfills, or hums with no water at all. Matched on coil voltage, inlet thread (usually 3/4 GHT on the supply side) and outlet barb size. Indicative $24–$55.
Rack rollers and axles. Sold singly, from about $3 a roller, because one cracked roller doesn't need a bag of eight. Bring one off the rack; diameter and the clip style are all we need.
Supply lines for the dishwasher sit with hoses, lines and O-rings.

Before you order dishwasher parts.
Is a compatible gasket worth it?
Often, yes, when the profile matches. Where a compatible version runs a thinner lip than the OEM part, we tell you and quote both. The difference is usually $8 to $15.
My dishwasher won't drain. Is that a part you sell?
Usually the fix is a clogged filter or a kinked drain hose, not a part. Check those first. If the drain pump itself is dead, send the model and serial and we'll match it the same way we do for washers.
Who is this not for?
Anyone who wants the dishwasher repaired for them. We don't send technicians. And if the control board has failed on a machine past ten years, we'll usually tell you the board costs more than the machine is worth.
