02Part matcher · 11 machines · live result

Set six options and see what we check before we quote the part.

The part matcher is how you ask for replacement parts by model number without writing a paragraph. Choose the machine, the part, and what you can show us. The result tells you how sure the match can be, which fit points we will measure, and an indicative range in US dollars for OEM and compatible appliance parts.

Configure the replacement part

Nothing here is a wizard. Change any option and the result panel redraws. When it reads right, press "Send this to the counter" and the summary lands in the inquiry form further down, already filled in.

BReading the verdict

What the confidence line actually means

The verdict depends almost entirely on option 03, what you have. A part in hand beats a photo. A photo beats a brand name by a mile.

Measured fit

You bring the old part. It goes on the bench next to the candidate and we put a caliper on the shaft, the mount and the connector. If all three agree, it fits. This is the only verdict we would bet the return on.

Model-tag fit

You send a clear photo of the rating plate. We look the model and serial up against the manufacturer's parts breakdown and the revision notes. Good for most appliance parts. When a revision split sits inside your serial range, we ask for one more number.

Model + serial

Cannot match yet

You only know the brand. That is not a failure, it just means the first reply will be a question. Whirlpool alone made four drain pumps that look identical. A brand narrows nothing.

Where the numbers in the result come from

Each part in the matcher carries a low and a high figure taken from what that type of part has cost across the models we see. Pick OEM and the range leans to the top half. Pick compatible and it leans low. Quantity multiplies both ends.

It is a range on purpose. The same washer drain pump replacement runs $38 on one machine and $95 on its cousin, and the only way to know which is to read the tag. So the figure is labelled indicative, and the counter confirms the real number on reply. Nothing is charged on this site. There is no cart.

Standard parts, like a braided supply line, trimmer line or O-rings by the piece, show one range because there is no OEM version to pick. They are matched by measurement alone.

The reply confirms the part and the real price. Nothing is reserved or charged until you say yes.

DQuestions about the matcher

Before you press send

Is the range in the matcher a price?

No. It is an indicative range built from what parts of that type usually cost. The counter checks your model and serial, then replies with the real number for the real part. If the real number falls outside the range, the reply says so and says why.

Why does brand only say cannot match yet?

A brand name covers dozens of machines and several revisions of the same part. Without the model tag or the old part there is nothing to measure against, so we do not guess. Send the inquiry anyway if you like. The first reply will ask where to find the tag on your machine.

Can I order through the matcher?

No. The site has no cart and takes no payment. The matcher writes a summary into the inquiry form, and the counter replies after it checks the fit. You decide after that.

My machine is not in the list.

The matcher covers the eleven machines we see most. Ranges, ovens on the electric side, garbage disposals and plenty of others still come through the counter. Pick the closest machine, then write the real one in the notes field, or go straight to the contact page.

Why is shipping greyed out?

Oversize parts such as dishwasher racks and refrigerator bins are counter pickup only. The box costs more than the part, and they arrive bent often enough that we stopped. Refused parts are pickup-locked too, because there is nothing to hand over.
